以我国首颗航天育种专用卫星“实践八号(2006)”搭载冬小麦轮选987为模式品种,选育出矮秆、白粒突变系衡辐9103,与野生型轮选987比较,下述性状发生改变:(1)株高降低5.03 cm,方差分析达0.01极显著差异;(2)籽粒颜色由野生型红粒变为白粒;(3)穗长、株穗数及千粒重分别增加-0.12cm、0.7个及0.95 g,均达0.05显著水平;(4)小穗数及穗粒数与野生型无差异;(5)2010年及2011年度产比试验中,超对照品种石4185达5%以上,2012年在国家区试预备试验中,比对照良星99增产3.17%,已升入下年度区域试验。通过航天诱变,可同时诱导多性状变异,选育矮秆、多穗、白粒变异新品系,进行小麦种质资源创新及新品种选育。
