一架示教用的發電機模型,首先必須尺寸較大,使坐在後排的同學亦可以不費力的看清構造。其次是要電樞部分可以拆出以便講解。為了使尺寸較大,就不可能用鐵做,而只可能用木製;但怎樣在一架木製的發電機模型上加上一些附屬設備,使它既能表示發電機的構造,又能產生電流以表示電流和磁場間的關係?經過研究後我們製出了如下面的一架模型,解决了這樣的問題。模型的外表是一架和教科書所繪的簡圖一樣的發電機(一個矩形的線圈在一磁場中旋轉),所以可以很方便的進行講解。
