Objective To investigate the seroprevalence of immunoglobulin M (IgM), immunoglobulin G (Ig G) and circulating antigen (CAg) in Toxoplasma gondii, Status and influencing factors of worm infection. Methods From January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2012, all the newly diagnosed HIV-positive patients in a HIV voluntary counseling and testing clinic in Guangxi were excluded from the previously untreated HIV-infected patients and the related opportunistic anti-infectives. Collecting case information and venous blood samples were collected for the detection of IgM, Ig G, CAg and CD4 + T lymphocyte counts in Toxoplasma gondii and the related factors of Toxoplasma gondii infection in HIV-positive patients. Results The positive rate of IgM was 0.00% (0/234), the positive rate of Ig G was 26.07% (61/234), and the positive rate of CAg was 26.92% (63/234). Double positive rate (positive for Ig G and CAg) was 6.84% (16/234). The newly diagnosed HIV-positive patients with Toxoplasma Ig G positive rate and CD4 T lymphocyte count and place of residence. Conclusion It is recommended that all to newly diagnosed HIV-positive patients detect toxoplasma gondii, take precautionary measures against patients with CD4 + T lymphocyte counts <100 cell / mm3 and from rural patients.
