The following is a message from Japanese scholar Mr. Weiyuan. Last autumn, Mr. Wei Suwon received an invitation to attend the “Concert of National Arrays of Music and Music for Associate Professor Lin Keren”. For some reason, he was unable to visit and wrote a message to Nanjing. In his message, he not only described friendship but also discussed art. He also expressed his enthusiasm and desire to further expand exchanges and deepen mutual understanding. In order to promote the cultural exchange between China and Japan, and as a response to Mr. Suwon’s wishes, we have decided to publish this message in full. In order to facilitate the establishment of the program, we presumptuously added a so-called essay in front of the message, which may not be what it is intended to be. It may not be appropriate and we can not understand it without the pro-immigration agreement of Mr. Suwon.
