为了分析现有的各种雷达系统,已建立起一种基于知识的研究原型。取名为ASTA的计算机程序交互地接受系统各种属性、分系统各种属性、或各种信号参数,然后一步步推出尽可能多的其它属性的数值。ASTA以其含有许多事实和探试法的人工智能知识库使其适用于雷达系统,以此确定怎样从现有信息推得新的信息。这些知识来源于熟练的雷达设计人员,分析人员和和雷达设计手册。ASTA知识库是一种初次尝试,它要建立起一种以可观测的工作特性为函数的雷达设计信息。
In order to analyze the various existing radar systems, a knowledge-based research prototype has been established. A computer program, named ASTA, interactively accepts various attributes of the system, various attributes of the subsystem, or various signal parameters and then proceeds to derive as many other attributes as possible. ASTA uses its AI knowledge base, which contains many facts and test methods, to adapt it to radar systems to determine how new information can be derived from existing information. This knowledge comes from skilled radar designers, analysts and radar design handbooks. The ASTA Knowledge Base is an initial attempt to establish a radar design message as a function of observable operating characteristics.
