Some papers of the 4th Asian Foundry Assembly are introduced selectively, which are related to the modification of Al-Si alloy, the new discovery of grain refinement of Al-alloy and the new viewpoint of crack source of Al-Si-Mg alloy. Hole new argument, predict the new technology of shell core gas, new development of squeeze casting process and new flame-retardant magnesium alloy materials.
