Objective: To investigate the effect of dynamic changes in NK cell viability on the prognosis of Duke C colorectal cancer patients. Methods: Sixty-seven patients with stage C colorectal cancer were enrolled in this study. The NK cell viability was dynamically tracked by MTT before surgery and 5 years after surgery. The NK cell viability of 10 normal controls was used as a control. RESULTS: The preoperative NK cell viability was significantly reduced in patients with advanced colorectal cancer, and the recurrence and metastasis rate of postoperative NK cell viability that did not return to normal increased significantly. The survival rate of those who have relapsed after treatment of NK cell viability is high and the survival period is long. Conclusion: Patients with persistently normal NK cell viability have a low rate of tumor recurrence and metastasis, and patients with treated NK cell viability can be quickly stimulated. The prognosis is better. More attention should be paid to the guiding role of NK cells in the treatment and monitoring of clinical cancers
