近年来,有关土壤磁化率的报道越来越多,通过测量黄土磁化率、沉积物磁化率和城市工业区土壤磁化率等,得出磁化率具有环境指示作用。磁化率在古气候与古环境变化、土壤学和环境污染等研究领域取得了较大进展,研究中也存在一些问题,因其具有强大的科学生命力,在更多新领域里有更广阔的发展趋势:(1)运用磁化率进行古降水量重建,古环境恢复,研究古气候变化,对未来气候环境变化预测;(2)用土壤磁化率的方法研究调查城市大气降尘污染物内含磁性颗粒的行踪轨迹;(3)运用“3S”技术,建立全球磁信息数据库。
