王勇男的石油题材诗歌脱去了旧有的格式套路,不再是一种英雄赞歌式的政治抒情诗,而是采取一种诗性思考的方式表现新时代下的油田以及石油人的生产生活以及对新形势下油田命运的深切观照。以《我们的油田》为首的众多石油诗,通过核心意象＂风＂和＂吼声＂体现了石油人的＂生命意识＂和＂坚守意识＂。
