铁路运输中经常有重联牵引运行的必要性——以牵引重型列车、完成特殊的运输任务或者作为大功率机车的替代机车。在重联牵引运行中,必须满足下列重要前提: (1)首先必须试验,机车能否通过重联插头装置完全联成一体。实践表明,并不是所有机车都可以应用重联控制装置。 (2)到目前为止,可用于重联牵引的只有具有电力缓解阀的机车,以便能够避免制动时由于动轮滑行而损害轮箍。 (3)在重联插头联接以前,两台机车的换向机构必须控制于同一方向。当柴油机停车时转换换向机构,则违反操作规程。
There is often the need for reconnection of traction operations in rail transport - either to tow heavy trains, to perform special transportation tasks, or to act as an alternative locomotive for high-powered locomotives.
