据全球船业界统计,船舶在正常营运期间,每年在港口和码头要有3000万加仑以上的润滑油泄漏出。这些油被泄漏的主要原因是船上出现机械故障和人为操作不当所致。而船上潜在的污染事故的起因一般包括:阀的损坏或滥用、油柜溢出、油柜钢板或管系存在疵点、软管断裂、污染的舱底水以及劣质的仪表。这足以说明船舶防止润滑油最小泄漏是多么的重要。
According to statistics from the global shipping industry, during normal operation of ships, more than 30 million gallons of lubricating oil are leaking out from ports and terminals each year. The main reason for the oil being leaked was the mechanical failure on board and improper man-machine operation. The potential causes of pollution accidents on board generally include: damage or abuse of valves; spillage of oil tanks; defects in the steel plate or piping of fuel tanks; hose breakage; contaminated bilge water; and poor quality meters. This is enough to show how important it is for the ship to prevent a minimum leakage of oil.
