Increasing the yield of crops is the central task of agricultural research. Chemical analysis of crops shows that 90-95% of their dry weight is produced by photosynthesis. From a plant physiology perspective, crop productivity can be expressed as a simple formula: P = NAR × LAI × t Where: P represents the primary production capacity of the crop.
