过年了，家里打扫得干干净净，就是少了点装饰，不用愁，跟我学做几串红灯笼，把房间装饰得喜气洋洋。
１.Supplies：Colored paper, scissors（剪刀）, glue（胶水）, tape（胶带）, or a stapler（订书机）
材料：彩色纸张、剪刀、胶水、胶带或订书机
２.Fold a rectangular（长方形）piece of paper in half.
把一张长方形纸横向对折起来。
3. Make a series of cuts (about a dozen or more) along the fold（折叠）line. Don’t cut all the way to the edge of the paper.
沿折叠线剪几刀（约十几下），注意不要剪到底端。
4. Unfold（展开）the paper. Glue（粘）or staple（订）the short edges of the paper together.
打开纸张，把纸的短边粘起来，粘上或用订书机订在一起。
５.Cut a strip(纸带)of paper 6 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Glue or staple this strip of paper across one end of the lantern（灯笼）. This will be the handle of the lantern. In this way, a lantern is made. Then , you can make some more ones and string them along to decorate（装饰）your home.
剪出一条约6英寸长，1/2 英寸宽的纸带。把这段纸带粘上或订在灯笼顶部做灯笼的把手,就这样，一个灯笼就做成了。然后，你可以多做几个灯笼，把它们串在一起装点你的家庭。
