This paper analyzes the basic types of wire rope damage and the principle of non-destructive testing. A new type of intelligent wire rope flaw detector with dual MCS-51 single-chip microcomputer structure is introduced. The instrument can detect the cross-sectional area less than 0.1% of the total wire rope cross- Loss of internal and external broken wire out rate of more than 90%, and provides a friendly user interface, the use of extremely convenient.
