In 1960, Japan’s ASAHI (Asahi Optical Co., Ltd.) trial production of spot metering mode single-lens reflex camera, named “Pentax Spotmatic ”. The camera can be achieved through the lens metering, TTL metering. Because of this photometry technology is not yet mature, more defects, combined with the use of complex metering point, it is not mass production and the official market. It was not until 1964 that Pentax finalized it. The actual use of the camera is the central center of gravity metering, the technology has been more mature, easy to operate and metering better, and has been sought after by photographers, and get a better market response.
