我国邮政于2008年4月16日发行《千岛湖风光》邮票1套2枚和一枚小全张,让邮人在方寸间领略“千岛碧水画中游”的蕴味。千岛湖位于浙江省淳安县境内,是1959年建造新安江水力发电站而拦坝蓄水形成的人工湖。千岛湖景区总面积982平方公里,其中湖区面积573平方公里,是杭州西湖的108倍。库容量达178亿立方米,是西湖的3000余倍,平均水深34米。湖区拥有大小岛屿1078座,故称千岛湖。岛上森林覆盖率达93%,有植物1800余种,野生动物2100余种。1963年,郭沫若到此畅游时,曾欣然赋诗“西子三千个,群山已失高,峰峦成岛屿,平地卷波
On April 16, 2008, China Post issued 1 set of 2 sets of Qiandao Lake scenery stamps and a souvenir sheet so that the postmen could have a taste of ”The Mid-stream of Thousand Island Clearwater Painting“ in April. Located in Chun’an County, Zhejiang Province, Qiandao Lake is an artificial lake formed in 1959 to build a Xin’anjiang hydroelectric power station and hold dam water.
