小学英语的主要教育目的是培养学生学习英语的兴趣,学好语音语调,培养学生听、说、读、写的初步能力和口语交际能力,而小学英语口语教学对于教师来说是一个棘手的问题。根据第二语言习得理论,语言习得的简要模型是刺激输入——认知过滤——语言生成一语言输出,语言技能在这个过程中形成,故适合的歌曲对于小孩子们而言就是可理解性的语言信息,让他们多听英文歌曲就是一种刺激输入。英文歌曲能激发小孩子们的学习的积极性,这种刺激输入能取得效果。
