教材反映课程的基本思想,是课程的缩影。新中国成立近七十年来,小学数学教材变化很大,改革开放近四十年来尤为明显。在中、小学数学课程教材建设的历史进程中,我们有过很多成功的经验,也付出过沉重的代价,获得了不少有益的教训,这些都需要我们认真反思,以利于总结经验,吸取教训。著名小学数学教育家邱学华先生曾撰文《为小学数学正名》(以下简称《正名》)对小学数学教材内容的历史变化作了回顾,提出了一个十分重大的课题:小学数学教材的内容如何确定,才能更加“利教便学”?
