该文章通过对地下结构类型的了解以及对地下结构的地震震害调查工作和国内外各类事件资料分析,研究了地下结构地震震害的各种形式和各自发生特点,通过规律性的研究确定地震震害的发生不仅与场所有关,还与当地地基基础、地震级数、结构特征和地震的运动波动方式有关。地下结构的地震震害大致分为两类:第一种是岩石围绕失去平衡导致的地震破坏,另一种是地震力惯性作用导致的余震破坏。在此地下结构类型的基础上选择危险系数最小,地质条件最好,抗震性能最高的场所,这对降低地震破坏有重大作用。
