迈入21世纪以来，电力工程及其自动化的技术取得了突飞猛进的发展。电力工程及其自动化是工业发展的有力助手，它的发展能为工业，甚至社会经济的发展带来源源不断的动力。虽然，目前的电力工程及其自动化的发展与建设存在着这样或那样的问题，但总的前进趋势是不可逆转的。本文对此进行分析阐述。
