磁记录技术目前已在录音、录像、计测、通讯、信息处理等范围内得到了广泛的应用。随着计算技术的发展,对存储器的高记录密度、大容量的要求越来越迫切。从磁带发展到磁鼓和磁盘。磁盘存储器由于具有随机存取、容量大、体积小、数据传送率高等优点,已成为第三代计算机不可缺少的主要外存设备。磁盘已经应用了二十多年。在磁盘技术的研制方面,美国的 IBM 公司一直处于领先的地位。对涂布介质和环形磁头组合的电磁转换系统来说,技术发展过程表明了如下两点:1)电磁转换系统机械尺寸的减小和记录介质磁特性的改进,提高了线性密度(见图1)。
Magnetic recording technology has been widely used in recording, video, measurement, communications, information processing and other areas.
