在抗日战争中后期,中国共产党领导的新四军在安徽境内建立了淮北、淮南、皖江三块抗日根据地。为了促进根据地经济发展,保障新四军供给,粉碎日本帝国主义“以战养战”、破坏中国经济的罪恶行径,安徽三块抗日革命根据地均筹备组建了银行,发行了抗币。安徽博物院收藏大量安徽地区抗日根据地货币,极具地方特色,其中不乏稀有珍品。
In the latter part of the Anti-Japanese War, the New Fourth Army under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party established three anti-Japanese bases in Huaibei, Huainan and Wanjiang in Anhui Province.
