《细胞》一章包括三节:细胞的化学成份;细胞的结构和功能;细胞的分裂。本章内容在整个中学生物教学中具有十分重要的地位。首先,通过讲述原生质的化学组成及其在细胞生命活动中的作用,使学生了解原生质是生命的物质基础,并建立生命的物质性这个唯物主义观点。其次,在初中学过细胞的简单构造和功能,以及对生命现象有了初步认识的基础上进一步讲述细胞的亚显微结构和功能,使学生了解现代科学所揭示的细胞的生命本质,为以后进一步深入学习打下基础。例如,细胞膜、线粒体、叶绿体及高尔基体等细胞的结构和功能,是为下一章《新陈代谢》做准备的;核糖体及细胞核的结构和功能,细胞分裂等知识,是以后讲述生殖发育和遗传变异等章节的基础。细胞是生
