各位代表、同志们：中华预防医学会重庆分会，经过几个月的筹备，今天正式成立了。这是我市广大预防医学工作者盼望已久的大事，也是我市预防医学史上的大事。我代表市卫生局，对中华预防医学会重庆分会的成立表示最热烈的祝贺，向总会派来的代表表示欢迎，向到会的全体代表，向为新中国预防医学事业，为人民健康事业作出贡献的老一辈科学工作者，预防医学专家及战斗在卫生防疫保健事业第一线的同志们，表示亲切的慰问和崇高的敬意。
Delegates, comrades: The Chongqing Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association was officially established after several months of preparations. This is a major event that the majority of preventive medical workers in our city have long hoped for. It is also a major event in the history of preventive medicine in our city. On behalf of the Municipal Health Bureau, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the establishment of the Chongqing Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association and welcome the delegates sent by the General Conference to all representatives attending the conference to make the cause of the people’s health for the cause of preventive medicine in New China. The old generation of scientific workers, preventive medical experts, and comrades who fought in the front line of the health and epidemic prevention and health care business expressed their cordial greetings and high respect.
