Promoting the coordinated development of women and economy and society and achieving equality between men and women is the proper meaning of the issue of building a harmonious socialist society. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the government’s proposal of the basic national policy of gender equality and the 10th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. At this important moment, we should review the development process of equality between men and women in our country over the past 10 years, and consider further promoting the implementation of equality between men and women in the new situation of building a harmonious society
