自由创作是所有设计师的梦想，但如何定义“自由”？不考虑商业和成本因素、天马行空地进行创作是一种“自由”，抛开物料、实体、工艺难题，以3D建模和软件渲染，随时将创意成型也是一种“自由”，而能在“自由”之中结合商业诉求（commercial demand）、制造方案（manufacture solution）、艺术形式（art forms）、自由呈现（free expression），才能最大限度地获得“自由”所带来的价值感和成就感，更全面地保护创意的精髓，并赢得品牌和产品口碑及销量，获得合理的利润，实现最终的财务自由（financial freedom）。
