湖北要努力成为中部崛起的重要战略支点,除了重点加快经济社会发展外,还应重视繁荣文化事业、发展文化产业,而弘扬炎帝(神农)文化则是后者的重要内容之一。炎帝(也即神农)是中华民族的人文始祖。炎帝作为炎黄子孙的共同祖先,在全球华人心目中具有崇高的地位。炎帝文化是中华文明的重要组成部分。弘扬炎帝文化,开发建设好位于随州的炎帝故里,对于凝聚海内外华人力量,维系海内外炎黄子孙的爱国情结具有重要意义。
Hubei will strive to become an important strategic pivot for the rise of Central China. Apart from focusing on speeding up economic and social development, Hubei should attach importance to the prosperity of cultural undertakings and the development of cultural industries. The promotion of Yan Di (Shennong) culture is one of the important contents of the latter. Yan Emperor (also Shennong) is the humanities ancestor of the Chinese nation. As a common ancestor of the Chinese people, Yan Emperor has a high status in the eyes of the Chinese in the world. Yan Emperor culture is an important part of Chinese civilization. Carrying forward the Yan Emperor’s culture and developing and building the hometown of Yan Emperor in Suizhou are of great significance to the consolidation of the Chinese forces both at home and abroad and the patriotic complex of the progeny of the Chinese people at large.
