CD34 molecules are highly glycosylated type I transmembrane proteins that are selectively expressed on the surface of early hematopoietic stem / progenitor cells, small vascular endothelial cells and embryonic fibroblasts. The expression of CD34 in early hematopoietic cell membrane gradually weakened with the increase of cell differentiation, and its gene expression was regulated by many levels until it was closed. It is an ideal model gene for studying the molecular mechanism of hematopoietic regulation. CD34 molecule characteristics and The regulation of its expression is of great importance to the promotion of hematopoietic regulation, the related theory and clinical application of hematopoietic stem / progenitor cells.
