在未来较长时间里,我国英语教学仍将是以教师为原点的单向教学,把学生作为教学的中心一方面是对学生人格的尊重,另一方面是把认知主体作为教学的核心,但是在此过程中,知识的流向是不平衡的,在英语学科知识的传递方面存在着几乎是必然的不对等性,如果把教师隐喻为英语教学的原点,则此种教学将呈现出独特性质,在教学内容的抉择及师生交流方面等方面也有其鲜明的特点。
