Since the natural resources of Panax ginseng C.A. Mayer are rapidly reduced and artificial cultivation is extremely difficult, they are dedicated to searching for substitutes for ginseng. Soviet scholars divided six ginsenosides (Panaxside), ginseng saponins A-F from ginseng roots. Japanese scholars isolated eight kinds of ginsenosides by thin-layer chromatography on silica gel, and proved that Panaxadiol can be obtained after acid hydrolysis of protopanaxadiol. In addition, there are still people from the Acanthopanax senticosus (Eleutherococcus senticosus Maxi-
