短式网球上世纪70年代末诞生于瑞典,1993年引入我国,2000年教育部首次将短网项目纳入到九年义务教育体育教学大纲中。从此,短网开始正式步入我国小学的体育课堂。 Short tennis was born in Sweden in the late 1970s and introduced to China in 1993. For the first time in 2000, the Ministry of Education included the project of short net in the nine-year compulsory education physical education program.
