Workers Daily 2013-02-01 Report: If you compare the current paper with the past, it is not difficult to find that the paper has become better and better and more and more white. However, the paper industry behind the bright and clean paper has been struggling to get out of its high pollution and high energy consumption. Nowadays, biotechnology intervention is making this situation is changing. Applied in various stages of the paper industry chain of various enzyme preparations, is bringing a revolutionary “baptism” for the industry. The “black” hidden behind the white paper China Paper Association survey data show that in 2010 China’s pulp and paper industry wastewater discharge accounted for 18.58% of the total discharge of waste water, ranking third; emissions of waste water chemical oxygen consumption ( COD) accounted for about 26.04% of the national industrial COD emissions, ranking first.
