日本建筑史的中世以从中国宋朝传来新的建筑样式作为开端(东大寺南大门、钟楼),而以出现日本本土的建筑新样式和新技术作为结束(姬路城天守阁、如庵茶室)。中世寺院建筑史研究涉及平面和空间形式的演进,建筑样式的传播与发展,施工方法和技法的变迁,建筑样式与匠作体系的关联,佛教仪式及信仰与空间的关系等诸多方面。本文主要总结了平面、空间、样式、结构等方面的现有研究成果,并尝试在此基础上探索该领域今后的研究课题及方向。
The beginning of the Middle Ages in the history of Japanese architecture begins with the introduction of new architectural styles from the Song dynasty in China (Todaiji south gate, clock tower), but ends with the appearance of new Japanese architectural styles and technologies (Himeji Castle, . The research on the architectural history of Medieval temples involves many aspects such as the evolution of the plane and space forms, the spread and development of architectural styles, the changes of construction methods and techniques, the connection between architectural styles and craftsmanship, the relationship between Buddhist rites and beliefs and space. This paper summarizes the existing research results in the aspects of plane, space, style and structure, and tries to explore the future research topics and directions in the field based on this.
