最近,美国推出与发泡聚苯乙烯(EPS)相似的可模塑的发泡聚乙烯(EPE)缓冲衬垫,用来包装电子产品和其它防震产品。这类新产品中,一种是 PE/PS 共聚物,一种是交联的 PE 均聚物,两者都可代替预制的PE 厚板或发泡聚氨酯衬垫。由 EPE 制成的缓冲衬垫,可减少包装的体积,节省用料。不同的可模塑聚乙烯最近 Arco 化学公司推出的 Arcel EPE/EPS 可模塑共聚物(图1),这种材料通过许多模塑试验,在商业上已成为可再次使用的装运汽车的衬盘。
Recently, the United States introduced moldable foamed polyethylene (EPE) cushioning cushions similar to expanded polystyrene (EPS) for packaging electronics and other shock resistant products. One of these new products is a PE / PS copolymer and a cross-linked PE homopolymer, both of which replace pre-formed PE slabs or foamed polyurethane liners. The cushioning pad made from EPE reduces the volume of the package and saves material.
