3月18日下午,我们全体师生突然被告知:下午第三节课,我国著名核物理专家、中国科学院院士、英国诺丁汉大学校长、格致中学校友杨福家将来我校颁发“格致爱国奖学金”并作报告。全校师生都充满期待,因为,每年的这一天,颁奖嘉宾的精彩演讲会使每个人都受益匪浅。14:50,杨福家带着手提电脑,准时进入大礼堂。稳重、内敛的学者风范让人精为之一振,在场师生立刻报以热烈的掌声。颁奖仪式举行之后,杨院士便开始了他的演讲。
