12月12日下午,上海市中小学生集邮活动日在中国福利会少年宫揭幕。千余名小邮迷参加了这次活动。 在大草坪上是“展望新世纪”纪念封设计展,本市百名中小学生设计的100幅画稿,展现了喜迎澳门回归,喜迎新世纪到来的主题;在大厅内陈列的是“爱祖国、爱上海、爱家乡”一框邮展,出自50名中小学生之手的50部邮集,回荡着鲜明的时代音韵,描绘了祖国光辉的历程和崭新的面貌,抒发了少年儿童热爱祖国
