今年,广州市中学的高一年级开始采用人教社的全日制普通高级中学教科书(试验修订本·必修)。其中,在历史教材的练习部分增加了不少材料解析题,这是一个可喜的现象,说明其对培养学生能力的重视。不过新的事物难也会有不尽人意的地方。例如《中国近代现代史》上册出现的第一道材料解析题(第6页),似有值得商榷之处。题目如下:
This year, the first grade of middle school in Guangzhou City began using the full-time general high school textbooks of the People’s Education Agency (experimental revision of the compulsory version). Among them, a number of material analysis questions have been added to the practice part of the historical textbooks. This is a gratifying phenomenon and shows that it attaches importance to developing student abilities. However, new things can hardly be unsatisfactory. For example, the first material analysis question (page 6) appeared in the first volume of “Modern History of Modern China” seems to be worth discussing. The topics are as follows:
