The experience of developing and using cylindrical foam separator shows that the sorter can not guarantee the unit load stability along the feeder line during mineral processing. This is because the moving speed of the center of the sorting tank and the surrounding foam layer are different, and thus the flotation time varies. Because of the inability to guarantee a stable unit load, the use of this foam separator can result in a reduction in process specifications for the beneficiation process. Figure 1 shows the cylinder
