In the 1960s, the glass movement in the studio started in the United States and spread rapidly around the world, which made the beginning of modern glass art. As the artist’s glassmaking conditions have changed, “independent work” becomes a reality. As a “creative medium” rather than “raw material,” glass has gained a new lease of life among artists and the artist has gained absolute dominance. At the same time, modern glass art teaching has also gradually formed a system and norms, as an independent art discipline, developed and popularized in western countries.
