Nano-tribology is one of the most active areas of tribological research in the 1990s [1]. Due to the 4f electronic properties of rare earth elements, their elements and their compounds have many special properties [2-8]. In this study, alkyl phosphate modified La2 (C2O4) 3 nanoparticles were prepared by adsorption co-precipitation surface modification and dispersed in lubricating base oil to investigate the tribological behavior
