清代版画,从总体上看,不如明代辉煌,但在许多方面仍然有新的发展,成就相当可观。清代民间的木刻版画,一方面因为清廷对小说戏曲的大肆禁毁而较之明代呈现出衰落趋势;另一方面,一些富有创造力的画家却仍然创作出大量艺术成就颇高的作品。清初萧云从的《离骚图》,共64幅,构思独特,落笔深沉,寄托了画家自身的情感,与明末陈洪绶《九歌图》有异曲同工之妙。萧氏另一作品《太平山水图画》(见图一),写太平府当涂、芜湖、繁昌一带山水,摹古人笔法而自出新意;刻工亦精,堪称杰作。
In the Qing Dynasty, printmaking was generally not as brilliant as the Ming Dynasty, but there were still new developments in many aspects and the achievements were considerable. On the other hand, some creative painters still created a large number of highly accomplished works of art. On the one hand, Qing dynasty’s ban on woodcut novels showed a declining trend compared with the Ming Dynasty. In the early Qing Dynasty, the “Li Sao” pictures of Xiaoyun, a total of 64 pieces, had a unique concept and touched down the painter’s own emotions. They were similar to the “Nine Songs of the Three Songs” by Chen Hongshou at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Another works of Shaw, “Taiping Landscape Painting” (see Figure 1), written Taiping Fu Dangtu, Wuhu, Fanchang area landscapes, copying the ancient style of writing and make new ideas;
