一、由于测验精度之限制,沿黄河各站输沙量多不能获得合理的数字。其中最显著者,如潼关及陕州两站的比较,1934年陕州站比潼关站约多了8亿公吨,而潼陕间流域面积不过五千五百二十方公里,即每方公尺冲去约145公斤之多,合地面冲深约1公寸,显与实际不符。故关于黄河泥沙数量的估计,只能就现有测验记录的精度,加以合理的估算,因之其数值每随估算者所用之方法不同,而所得结果即各异。如前公共工程委员会根据1934至1942年记录估算陕州每年平均输沙量
