目的探讨绝对期青光眼视神经轴突损害的程度,以便说明绝对期青光眼视功能丧失的原因。方法对10例猝死而生前健康的成年人10只眼球及10例10只患绝对期青光眼眼球,用微机图像分析技术定量测定了其视神经轴突直径、轴突总数以及轴突数占视神经面积百分率。结果显示绝对期青光眼视神经轴突的上述各数值异于正常人,轴突直径明显增大,轴突总数明显减少,占视神经面积百分率明显降低,差异非常显著(P<0.001)。结论提示长时间的高眼压是造成青光眼视神经损害的重要原因之一。
Objective To investigate the extent of optic nerve axon damage in absolute glaucoma in order to explain the causes of loss of function in absolute glaucoma. Methods 10 eyes of 10 healthy adults and 10 eyes of 10 patients with absolute glaucoma who died of sudden death were measured. The diameter of optic nerve axon, the total number of axons and the percentage of optic nerve area were determined by computer image analysis . The results showed that the above-mentioned values of optic nerve axons in adolescent glaucoma were significantly different from those in normal subjects, the diameter of axons was significantly increased, the total number of axons was significantly decreased, and the percentage of optic nerve area was significantly decreased (P <0.001). Conclusions High IOP for a long time is one of the important causes of glaucomatous optic nerve damage.
