在数学教學中,要使学生巩固灵活地掌握基础知識并培养他們計算和演算的技能技巧以及加强邏輯思維能力等等,都必須让他們解答一定数量又具有較高质量的习題;并且通过独立解答习題可以培养他們应用所学知識进行創造性劳动的习惯。为了提高练习的效果,教师必須重視习題的选择和配备。在单元备課时,把单元里的习題全部研究一遍,这是教师应尽的責任,然后根据习題的类型、深广度和所联系到的旧知識来考虑某些題可作例題,某些題可作单元的課外作业,哪些題則沒有必要布置給学生。教师在平时应多参考其它数学課本和习題集里有关的习題,以便从中可以选择一些作为例題或作为习題布置給全班或部分学生。当实际教学时,可再根据实际情况,結合学生在概念和运算上所存在的問題,再編拟一些习題。
