利用数值模拟技术对Cr5钢支承辊的水-空交替淬火过程进行了研究。通过实验测得了Cr5钢支承辊的材料性能参数,利用DEFORM软件分析了空冷时间、水冷时间等影响因子对Cr5钢支承辊在水-空交替淬火过程中温度场、组织场以及应力场的影响,获得了满足支承辊使用需求的水-空交替淬火工艺,并与连续喷雾淬火工艺进行了物理模拟实验对比。结果表明:与连续喷雾淬火+回火工艺处理相比,Cr5钢试样经水-空交替淬火+回火工艺处理后的硬度降低了约2.54%,但伸长率以及冲击韧性分别提高了约6.34%和16.67%。水-空交替淬火工艺既保证了Cr5支承辊的硬度和强度等性能指标,又提高了其淬火后组织中的残留奥氏体含量,从而可使其塑性和韧性得到一定程度的提升。
The numerical simulation technique was used to study the water-air alternating quenching of Cr5 steel back-up roll. The performance parameters of Cr5 steel backup roll were experimentally determined. The influences of air cooling time, water cooling time and other factors on temperature field, texture field and stress field of Cr5 steel backup roll were investigated by DEFORM software. The water-air alternating quenching process, which meets the requirement of back-up roll, was obtained and compared with the continuous spray quenching process. The results showed that the hardness of Cr5 steel decreased by 2.54% compared with that of continuous spray quenching and tempering treatment, but the elongation and impact toughness increased by about 6.34% and 16.67%. Water - air alternate quenching process not only guarantees the hardness and strength of Cr5 backup roll and other performance indicators, but also increased the residual austenite content in the tissue after quenching, which can be a certain degree of plasticity and toughness to enhance.
