中国共产党优秀党员、中国艺术研究院戏曲研究所副研究员、戏曲文学研究室主任、中国戏曲学会理事、中国戏剧家协会会员朱颖辉同志,因呼吸循环衰竭抢救无效,不幸于1990年4月9日在北京逝世。终年50岁。朱颖辉同志是著名的中年戏剧理论家。他治学严谨踏实,勤奋刻苦,兢兢业业,孜孜砣讫,成绩卓著。他长期致力于清代戏曲作家孟称舜的研究,苦心孤诣,旁征博引,写出了《孟称舜新考》等五篇论文,受到戏曲界的一致好评。他深入探讨张庚的戏曲理论,探索戏曲美学的基本特征,写出《张庚的剧诗说》一文,获得了戏曲理理界的赞赏。他还写了《关于中国古典悲剧问题 Comrade Zhu Yinghui, an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China, an associate researcher at the Chinese Opera Research Institute, a director of the Drama Literature Research Institute, a director of the Chinese Opera Society, and a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association, died of respiratory failure. He explored Zhang Geng's opera theory in depth, explored the basic characteristics of opera aesthetics, and wrote the article entitled “Zhang Geng's Drama Poems”, gaining the appreciation of opera theory community. He also wrote “On China's classical tragedies.”
