Ability cultivation reflects the inherent requirements of quality education and is an important goal of secondary education. High school is an important period for people to gain knowledge and shape their character. It is also an important period for multi-faceted capacity development and initial maturity. Reading and appreciating skills are necessary to facilitate the reading of books and literature. A basic cultural skill is also an important part of literary quality. Reading and appreciation is not only an important part of Chinese teaching, but also a form of Chinese language teaching; it is both a teaching method and a teaching goal. The high school language class is the main channel for the development of reading and appreciation skills, and it speaks little about the improvement of students’ reading and appreciation skills.
