The Maastricht Marshalling Station of the West Federal Railways was built on the 2000 transport features. After 7 years of construction on July 7, 1977, all the North-South systems have been put into operation. The South-North system will be completed in 1985. The whole station has a total length of 7,000 meters and a width of 700 meters with a total length of 300 kilometers and 1,000 switches.
