The Japanese archipelago, separated from the mainland by a sea of Japan, is called a neighboring country with which my country is a “water strip.” A strip of water this idiom, earliest from “South history. The Last Memory of the Lord ”is an analogy of the water surface of the Yangtze River, indicating that the two sides of the Strait are not far apart. Later, the term refers to a separate area, borrowed from Japan and our country is bordered by the sea across the sea. A few years ago, after the study of paleomagnetism found that about 15 million years ago, the Japanese archipelago and the mainland are linked. At that time, the Japanese Archipelago was once a continental arc in northeastern Asia, just as the Andes Mountains in South America nowadays are the continental arcs of the South American continent. Due to the rapid expansion of the sea of Japan, the continental margin arc left the mainland and formed today’s Japanese archipelago. According to the deep paleomagnetic data, the direction of the magnetic north pole in southwestern Japan deflected eastwards by more than 45 degrees, while the magnetic north pole in the northeast deflected more than 20 degrees westward. Assuming it was restored to its original shape, the arcs of the Japanese archipelago became a straight line, thus turning the Sea of Japan into an inner lake. From a geological point of view, Hokkaido, Honshu northeast region, Zuo Du Island,
