实验证明吸入石棉纤维引起胸膜或腹膜的间皮瘤。一些研究者认为石棉能促使细胞结构发生紊乱,导致染色体异常。本文作者培养中国地鼠的细胞以进一步证实此现象,所用细胞为CHO-K1种。此种细胞适用于观察染色体的改变。在培养细胞的瓶中分别加入温石棉、青石棉、玻璃纤维及玻璃粉。摇动培养瓶并使细胞与粉尘充分混匀。培养48小时后,收集一部分细胞。5天后,再收集余下的细胞,观察其存活率。只有接触石棉粉尘的细胞表现核的改变。当接触时间从48小时增至5天,出现的细胞异常情况并不增多。只看到接触温石棉者细胞带有碎片的趋势增多。如果事先将石棉纤维放在培养基中
Experiments show that aspiration of asbestos fibers cause pleural or peritoneal mesothelioma. Some researchers believe that asbestos can cause cell structure disorder, leading to chromosomal abnormalities. The authors of this study cultivated Chinese hamster cells to further confirm this phenomenon, using CHO-K1 cells. This cell is suitable for observing changes in the chromosome. Chrysotile, crocidolite, glass fiber and glass powder were added into the bottle of cultured cells respectively. Shake the flask and mix the cells thoroughly with the dust. After 48 hours of cultivation, a part of the cells were harvested. After 5 days, the remaining cells were collected and observed for survival. Only cells exposed to asbestos dust showed a nuclear change. When the contact time increased from 48 hours to 5 days, there was no increase in cellular abnormalities.
